Pop-up Demonstration: Hugelkulture - Building custom homes for mycelium and microbes

Join Backyard to Table and their host Rudy, backyard gardener extraordinaire, for a hands-on demonstration of Hugelkultur!

Hugelkultur is a gardening technique used for centuries in Germany and Eastern Europe that uses compostable biomass (wood, compost, straw, grass etc.) as the foundation for a raised garden bed. Hugelkultur beds boast better water retention, include a built-in source for natural, slow release fertilizer and sequester carbon.

Workshop will be held this Saturday, March 14th 2020 from 10:00-11:00.
Pre-registration is required, click here to register

Workshop will be held in Rhinecliff, NY - full address will be provided upon registration. Workshop is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
